Lighthouse Gospelettes - Community Service Award
October 22, 2006
On October 15, 2006, The Lighthouse Gospelettes of Athens,
GA sang during the Praise and Worship Services for the Mt.
Zion #207 O.E.S (Order of The Eastern Stars) Annual Family
& Friends Day, which was held at the Friendship Baptist
Church in Athens, GA where Rev. Kendricks is the Pastor.
The Lighthouse Gospelettes were presented with A Community
Service Award Plaque from the Mt. Zion #207 O.E.S. (Order
of the Eastern Stars).
Delbra Favors, new Gospel Recording Artist of Athens, GA
also rendered selections on the program.
Debra Watkins, spoke on Family, Friend and Unity and did a
superb job.
The Lighthouse Gospelettes plan to continue providing
gospel musical service to The Athens-Clarke County
Community in the future. This is indeed a part of their
calling and what God has blessed them to do throughout the
years. The group has rendered musical praise services on
occasions such as: Worship & Praise Services, Concerts,
Benefits, Festivals, Funerals, Weddings, and more.
