The original Lighthouse Gospelettes were formed back in the
1950's. The group has continued to minister through songs
as it has changed various group members throughout the
years. The current group has been singing together for
about 20 years or so. One original member, Alma (Roach)
Stroud, is still singing with The current Lighthouse
Gospelettes despite health problems that have recently
tried to slow her down. Nevertheless, with prayer and
faith, she has managed to weather many storms and is still
standing strong as the 1st soprano in the group. This
group is a family group. They love to sing, touch hearts,
and inspire others to come to love Christ and to know and
understand Christs love for mankind and the sacrifice he
made for us all in order they we may have life and have it
more abundantly.
